Abstract

As a term romanticism has always attracted critics to analyze poetry and poets on certain scale. This term has brought many other terms with it like classicism, revolution, utility and many other concepts which are associated with comments either in favor of romantic poet or against him. In this article the focal point of discussion is the basic concept of romanticism that is always present in poetry and prose even when it is considered against the trend of romanticism. From Hali to Iqbal, romanticism has always been a part of poetry.
