Abstract

The portrayal of village characters in literature is a common theme explored by numerous authors. In this paper, a comparative analysis is conducted on the village characters represented in the fiction of Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi and Mansha Yad, two prominent writers. This analysis aims to examine the similarities and differences in the portrayal of village characters in their respective works. Through a close reading and content analysis of selected stories. Ahmad Nadeed Qasmi is a well-known poet, columnist and fiction writer, on other hand Mansha Yad was a well-known fiction writer. Both writers had a separate place in literature, but both write for the poor and village characters more often.
