Abstract

He studied Persian, Arabic, philosophy and logic and hadith and commentary books without any system. Urdu poetry enters the modern era and religious influences can be seen most prominently on modern Urdu poetry. Hali's salami tendencies were the most in his poems. No other poet could reach the status of Maulana Hali. . In the mushairas, poems such as Barkharut, Nishat, Umeed aur  Munazira, Rahm o Ansaf, and Hub e Watan were recited. The effects of salam on the slogan are prominent. The thematic nature of Altaf Hussain Hali's poems is of moral subjects and these subjects are related to religion in one way or another. The second major achievement of Hali is that he justified poetry for Islam, because for the first time in Urdu poetry, Islamic teachings were popularized by Hali under a strong intellectual system.
